Pixletown

A career politician whom no one remembers electing. Upon first glance of his diminutive frame, many are taken aback by how adorably he seems put together and mistakenly assume that he must have a personality to match. This gross error is usually righted as soon as eye contact is made, however, his piercing eyes searching for leverage deep within whomever is unfortunate enough to fleetingly hold his attention. While it’s a mystery how he and Margina got together, it’s clear she’s his perfect foil.

A misleading name if ever there was one. Her commanding and polarizing personality cuts a clear path for her to walk through in any room she places herself in. While she's undoubtedly manipulative, her drive and ability to get results is truly something to behold. Ms. Pippin used to look up to her as a symbol of a strong woman, until she had kids, now her values have shifted significantly.

An old friend of Ohma's, though with each visit they grow curiously further apart. Ms. Firefox says Ohma is increasingly and uncharacteristically curt. Ohma says if Ms. Firefox wants to give her the silent treatment, she doesn't need to come over every day. 2-Bit says Ohma is probably mistaking the fireplace for her friend, because she doesn't visit that much.

Staunch defender of Pixletown, supportive partner to Ms. Pippin, and devoted father to Rom, Ram, and Lisp. All that glistens isn't gold, however, and there are some curious rumors emerging about how his past might be interwoven with L-Virus, perhaps they weren’t always archenemies. Often called "Kurs" for short.

Pixletown's preeminent primary school teacher. Mother to Rom, Ram, and Lisp. Partner to Kurs. Before all of that though, she was an absolute star in the corporate world. So much so in fact, that the mayor's wife repeatedly tried recruiting her with increasingly eye-watering sums of money, to no avail. When Ms. Pippin's focus shifted from personal advancement to motherhood, Margina thought it a tremendous waste...at first.

Rom's “younger” twin brother. Being so close in age has meant they're often compared or contrasted, but they mostly always see each other as complementary and have been fast friends for years. He doesn’t mind being labeled the middle child, but he’s become confused by burgeoning feelings of responsibility and care towards his younger sister who seems to be outpacing his own maturity.

Kurs' and Ms. Pippin's eldest—technically. Born mere seconds before Ram, he was always treated as the "firstborn" by the entire family, which might have encouraged him to act more mature than he truly needed to or felt. However, seeing his younger sister grow up so quickly made him realize he’d have plenty of time to act like a grown up, but not so much to act like a kid.

The precocious daughter of the dynamic parenting duo that is Kurs and Ms. Pippin. Fearlessly independent younger sister to Rom and Ram, as well. She seems to have some kind of special connection with her father that was first recognized by Ohma, then Ms. Pippin, and finally her brothers. Ironically, Kurs would be one of the last to find out just quite how special his youngest is, but he has had an unusual amount on his plate of late.

Among the oldest residents of Pixletown. Loving mother of Ms. Pippin and doting grandmother to Rom, Ram, and Lisp. Many who see her with 2-Bit mistake their frequent nagging and arguing for anything other than pure intimacy, forged through what would be many human lifetimes of shared pain and pleasure. No one knows this aside from 2-Bit and Ms. Pippin, but Ohma was a tremendous power in the distant past, perhaps even rivaling Kurs.

Helpful and trustworthy assistant to 2-Bit and Ohma, if only he didn't have to say everything TWICE! Some people find it endearing, but not 2-Bit. Not Ohma. In fact, Ms. Pippin worries it might have a negative effect on what little's left of her parents' hearing because the intermittent sparkles of recognition she once enjoyed seeing on their beloved faces seems to have been replaced with a grimace of anticipated redundancy.

Ohma & 2-Bit's trusty handyman, usually able to identify and fix problems before Ohma & 2-Bit forget about them. Unfortunately, Switch drives Ohma crazy with the particular frequency of sound that he emits, which interferes with her hearing aid. They're rarely seen together for this reason, and when they are together, nobody should be talking to Ohma because her hearing aid is surely turned down.

Ohma's spouse and—in the distant past—perhaps a great deal more. Neither of them is certain of his true age, but what they haven’t forgotten is that they have loved each other dearly and deeply for longer than either of them can remember. 2-Bit's a legend though, Ms. Pippin sometimes tells this wild story about him in his youth. "There were no colors then," she'd say, "only shades of grey." She'd go on to illustrate a few things that were—or weren't—possible back then to help others understand the significance of 2-Bit’s exploits in his heyday.
